The Knock Out Rat Consortium (KORC) is formed by individuals and institutions interested in the goal of creating knockout rats using multiple different technologies. Knockout rats can be used for functional genomics and also for drug discovery. PROGRAMS AND SERVICE
Our custom genetically modified rat services are provided on a milestone production and payment basis. The first milestone is vector construction. Transposagen will produce the vectors and send you the vector maps and sequences for verification along with the vectors, if requested. The second milestone is transfection, injection, selection and implantation. You will receive detailed reports demonstrating successful genetic modification of our stem cells. The third milestone is germline transmission and delivery of founders.
