FLASH XTN™ TALEN Heterodimers

High Mutation Efficiency, Consistently Low Toxicities 

Transposagen’s licensed FLASH™ TALEN production system can now be utilized to produce both homodimeric and ELD/KKR heterodimeric XTN™ TALEN pairs targeting any gene in any genome. A large scale comparison of homodimeric and heterodimeric XTN™ TALENs demonstrate that heterodimer pairs have equivalent or higher activities and consistently lower toxicity than homodimeric XTN™ TALENs.
